Rhode Island’s Home Energy Assistance Program (RIHEAP) is now open for the season! RIHEAP helps keep families warm through the winter by assisting families with energy costs and reducing the severity of energy-related crises.
Appointments and walk-ins are welcome October – April!
If you were a Heating Assistance (RIHEAP) client last year, don’t worry – you will receive an application in the mail.
New clients for Pawtucket, Central Falls, and Lincoln areas, please call 401.723.0227 for an appointment

Due to the high volume of calls and walk-ins that are expected, please be patient! Remember to include COPIES OF ALL required documents. Please pay close attention to the list of required documents (included in your application package) as the requirements have changed. This is due to new regulations from the government.
Applications that are incomplete or missing documents will not be processed.
